Last Sunday,an astonishing event materialised on Hayling Island. an 8 m long whale beached on some mudflats just north of Hayling in Langstone Harbour, Hampshire.
Unfortunately, the whale had suffered from severe dehydration, which meant it was suffering from kidney failure, when it became entangled on Monday night.
There was a large rescue scheme, where individuals tried tirelessly to save the Northern Bottlenose whale’s life. At one point the trained medics felt that the had to issue a lethal injection to put the whale to sleep. However, the whale then floated out to sea again. Regrettably, it came back towards the coast again and was then beached for a second and last time.
The medical team determined that the only compassionate thing to do would be to issue the lethal injection, which they did on Friday morning. They used Immobilon, which was a very rapid and lethal strength of anaesthetic.
If the mammal was not put to sleep, the experts believe that it would have taken about 2 further days for the whale to die, during which it would have remained sick and distressed.
It seemed bizarre that the 6 metric ton mammal, which is normally found about 3000 miles away, finished up here on Hayling Island, but it is another wonderful story that Hayling brings to its history.
There were around a dozen firefighters, police, coastguard personnel as well as members of the Hayling Island harvour lifeboat staff involved in the attempt.

There aircraft during that time were extremely heavy and huge gas hogs. Could it be possible to build a nuclear aircraft-space craft.
Better yet since there is radiation in space already and it is problematic for space flight (human life), why not hook up a system to collect the radiation waves, modify them to a specific resonance and use that as energy thru heat exchangers to power up a specific propulsion system.
How could this be done? Perhaps with an energy sphere pointed in the direction of the highest consistency of space radiation coming in, which would be attached to a pole with runners or stringers to the corners of the space craft collecting all the radiation energy which would normally hit the space craft. The pole and the runner system could be made of high-tech nano carbon tubes. The premise of the engine would be similar to the WS125 project, but would fire up a different sort of motor. When you were little, you looked up to your parents. You imitated their mannerisms, words, and actions as you learned about life by watching them. This applies to relationships as well - you leaned about relationships by watching them.
Not all you learned about relationships came from your parents; your learning has continued throughout your life. But what you saw your parents do in relationships, how you interpreted what you saw, and how you felt about it, is the foundation of your adult relationships.
That’s not to say that your parents were wrong or bad parents, or even that they had a bad relationship. The only thing that can be said is if intimate relationships are problematic for you, the source is inevitably your foundational learning.
If a great relationship, a great partner, is what you are after, you must see, understand, and deconstruct your foundational learning about relationships. To take apart a foundation of something is a delicate thing. Imagine trying to remove or change the foundation of a house while leaving the rest of the house standing intact. Not an easy task. But in order to have a great relationship, you need to reconstruct your foundational learning while leaving you intact.
To begin, you must get complete with your parents. If you still have negative feelings about what they did to you or each other, you will create situations in your intimate relationships where you will confront these same negative feelings. Ending a relationship is never easy. When you feel you must end a relationship most people find it challenging as they have feelings towards their partner and do not wish to hurt them.
More often than not, breaking up is as hard on the person ending the relationship as it is on the person being broken up with. Realize that a person is breaking up has nothing to do with caring about another person. Caring about somebody and wanting a relationship are not the same.
The majority of people on this planet do not like to hurt others, especially somebody they have been close to. Guilt has been used more often than not to keep relationships together. Fight this urge and believe in yourself.! When you allow guilt as a way to stop a break up you not only cheat yourself out of having a good and true relationship, you’ll foster resentment towards the other person which could lead to greater pain and heart ache in the future. Why would you want to be with somebody who makes you feel bad by allowing you to feel guilty? Respect yourself!!.
A man should exit gracefully by planning the break up, to minimize the grief caused to his partner
Don’t just ignore her hoping she will notice and go away. You might have learned a little bit about push /pull as a term we use in seduction. That only tends to bring somebody in closer. Which is the exact opposite of what you want.
. The I think you’re a great girl and I don’t deserve you line will seem ok to her at first, but later on she will start to resent that. She could also go into how you DO deserve her and try to convince you.
Honesty really is the best policy. Treating the relationship, and the person, with respect and dignity helps soften the blow.
When you break up, Do it in person. Show some integrity and sincerity to tell her that the relationship isn’t't going anywhere. In our workshops we teach how verbal communication is only 7% of the total communication between people. If she also sees closed off body language it will be easier for closure for her eventually.
Telling somebody you are breaking up in person is never easy, but you owe it to her to break the news to her personally. This means not on the phone, definitely not over e-mail, but rather, face to face where she can get eye contact and read your body language. The universal line of ” we need to talk.” should be given in advance. This allows her to prepare for what is coming and helps soften the blow a little bit. Do not put too much time between the “We need to talk” and actual breakup as the waiting time in between is very uncomfortable if delayed long.
On doing some research on this I read a suggestion about breaking up in the exact same place you met if possible. This is to suggest that the relationship has completed a circle. A place where she has a lot of happy memories might help neutralize some of the new sad ones.
Ending a relationship gracefully means speaking our piece without blame or judgment and not taking responsibility for another’s feelings. It is important to make eye contact,and give body language that is open while you are communicating (which suggests you are VERY open to what you are saying) than give closed off body language after finishing your piece. To suggest you are not open to hearing anything else. Say your words sincerely, leave no room for doubt, and never back down- especially when she starts to cry and you feel horrible.
Than give that person some space usually a few months at least. Do not try to get cozy with the person as this can really mess with somebody’s head a lot as they will use this as hope that you are getting back together. This is the only way to keep pain to a minimum when ending a relationship.

The anonymity of the internet is attracting a whole new group of snake oil salesmen (and women) who are feeding on our weaknesses mainly vanity and greed. Who doesn’t want to earn a lot of money by doing nothing? Who would not be flattered if they were surrounded by members of the opposite sex who lusted after them? Who would not like to lose 10 pounds in a week with no dieting or exercise? Not many people in today’s society.
Don’t get me wrong there are many useful programs and products online that can help you to do many things including lose weight, make money, etc. However, there are no quick fixes. Keep in mind that if you are to truly succeed with any of those programs you will need to end up putting some work into it.
My advice to you is to do your research. If a product seems too good to be true it most likely is. Many of the internet marketers out there are interested in one thing and one thing only, the sale. After that they are done. Make sure that whatever you are looking at has some sort of guarantee and if the product turns out to not be what you were hoping RETURN IT! Help make the internet a better place by not letting the charlatans get away with scam products.
If you have questions on an item try putting the name of the product in Google and see if there are any reviews on it. Many times people will post their comments and reviews in different forums and blogs which could help you to make a decision on a product.

I crave structure, rules, organization. I am a self professed type A personality with a penchant for color coding and memorization. I am also a poker player. I reconcile these two personality traits by adhering closely to the official poker rules. I am the first to throw the rule book at someone for erratic behavior, and am quite frankly two steps away from getting those cool tabs to separate the sections in my rule book for easy reference.
I was understandably appalled therefore, when I heard someone call Caribbean Stud Poker a real online poker game. In my head, since it is played against the dealer, it does not fall under the official definition of a poker game. After a quick conference with other players, I may have to admit that I am on minority side of this debate. Most people seem to feel that the new variations of poker that crop up on the internet every day are actual poker games. I think that they are variations of poker that need to be considered as separate games. They are not “poker” they are “poker-like”. It’s a fine line in the sand, I know, but it these kinds of fine lines that are most important in life. After all, are we going to start calling blackjack poker one day just because it uses the same deck of cards?
You don’t have to agree with me on this debate (in fact, you probably don’t) but you should think about what poker means to you. Are you a purist, or are you willing to accept permutations to the game? You need to define your own relationship to poker, and poker-like games, if you want to make poker part of your life.
